How we choose
Rankings are computed, not sold. An exchange cannot pay to appear first. Last fee review: August 2026. We have not opened every account ourselves — figures are representative standard-tier retail numbers from provider fee pages.

Country is a hard gate
If the platform’s published terms don’t serve that country, it is omitted. Bybit and Binance global, for example, are not on the US or Canada lists.

Cost is bank + trade, in local currency
All-in % = funding fee + either the retail buy button (first-time) or the standard spot taker (regular / active).

Weights change with the question
First buy leans on ease and trust. Regular buys and active trading lean on cost. Local rails get a small bonus when they exist.

UK copy stays informational
The UK page uses a risk banner and “View official site” buttons. We do not tell UK readers to open an account.
